The product can also be used as a preventive measure against ice formation.

Effectiveness depends on various factors such as surface type, application method, and environmental conditions. Wind may require a higher product quantity than the recommended doses.
The following guidelines provide general recommendations for different scenarios.

Use as a de-icer:
For ice or packed snow (<1mm):
From 0° to -5°C, apply 10-20 g/m²; from -5° to -10°C, apply 20-30 g/m²; below -10°C, apply 30-40 g/m².
For snow:
From 0° to -5°C, apply 25-35 g/m²; from -5° to -10°C, apply 35-45 g/m²; below -10°C, apply 45-55 g/m².
For ice or freezing rain:
From 0° to -5°C, apply 30-40 g/m²; from -5° to -10°C, apply 40-50 g/m²; below -10°C, apply 50-60 g/m².
For ice or packed snow layers >3mm, a single application may not suffice.

Use as an anti-ice preventive:
If ice, snow, or freezing rain is forecasted, apply 30-40 g/m².
